Aimee & Foxes
Let’s wander off the wooded path; befriend the cleverest of floofs!
Lend a story to his fuzzy ear, or a song to share the time...
There’s never a day or a night beheld where a fox won’t steal my heart.
This winter I had the joy of photographing the beautiful adventurer Aimee with Vincent and Obi from Ironwood Wolves. Both foxes are Animal Ambassadors, education animals who enjoy traveling to schools and libraries with their handlers in Ohio. Together they educate the public on how beneficial foxes are for the environment and tell about fox history and mythology. If you get the chance to attend any of their events, definitely do so!
I like to begin photoshoots with animals in a quick meet and greet. Vincent and Obi were super energetic in the cool, fresh winter air, and we were all excited to meet them! After the meet and greet and a quick wardrobe change we walked a little further into the woods for our photo shoot!
Vincent is a cross phase red fox. Obi is what people refer to as a silver or black fox. Both of these colors are types of red fox.
